Welcome to my main music page. You can use this as a jumping-off point for music content I've added to the site. My first sample will be audio from my recent lecture-recital on the music of composer-pianist Nikolai Kapustin. I completed my doctoral degree in music (DMA) at the University of Arizona in 2009. I finished my course work in 2 years, spent 3 years of teaching at U of A, and another year spent working on my DMA document.

I am a pianist who plays both classical and jazz, so I have organized my music pages accordingly, with Kapustin getting (and deserving) his own category.
